Facebook has its perks.

I can upload a bunch of pictures and I don't lose any of my prescious bandwith. Altough I'd rather not upload too much artwork on there for fear of art theft and all thier legal "we own you" mumbojumbo.

To see some crazy pictures taken at a party with that silly MAC webcam, CLICK HERE!!!
I'm in most of them. That's right, attention whore. Although they're not the most flattering kind.

Ok, not really.

What is Facebook?

{ 3:19 PM, 4/26/2007 } { 4 comments } { Link }
I don't really know but I'm on it.  I joined 'cause my friend kept bugging me and I caved. Turns out not many poeple I know are on there, so I look like I have hardly any friends. And that seems to be the main purpose there; show that you have more friends than the next guy. It's kind of like e-mail except everyone gets to see who's in your contact list and judge you accordingly.
I did find 2 old highschool people. They were not really my friends, more like good aquaintances, but according to facebook, they are now closer to me than my own mother.
I'm still doing the no-shampoo thing with rather interesting results. My hair is now wavy, kind of like a fading perm. I said PERM!  And it's a lot fuller. I'll post pictures eventually.
You can see my no shampoo mate and her photo blog of her progress right HERE.
So if you want to join me on facebook and help me not look like a reject in front of the internet cool crowd, add me to your friends list.
BY CLICKING THIS
and this is what I look like on there.

Looks like my shoulder is angry.
Later foo'!

Demon Baby!

This came from the Open Canvas session we did yesterday at lunch time.
Still not using shampoo. My hair is starting to look different if not better. I have wavy hair now. My friend is doing the same thing across the world. See Betty & J-F on the side here.--------->
I think I'm coming down with some freaky virus. Possibly got it from a co-worker who has a kid in daycare.
Oh, kids and their germs!
Gotta finish the stupid drawing for stupid work now.  See ya!

Happy Easter!!

Doodle frenzy

{ 4:02 PM, 4/5/2007 } { 1 comments } { Link }
Don't know why but I got that doodle urge lately. This came out of my pencil at lunch time. It's me and Marc-Andre and it's inspired by my capillary experiment of the recent days. He still makes fun of me a little.
Enjoy!

It looked nicer before I scanned it for some reason. Meh...

The blog loop

{ 9:09 AM, 4/3/2007 } { 3 comments } { Link }
It has occurred to me that this blog is in urgent need of drawings. I made this doodle of a weird canine creature. I think he's pretty scary.

Also, I found by total accident this really talented girl, Brianne Something. I added her to my links.
On her links I noticed Katie Rice, which also rocks, and on Katie's links I found Sue, who's another cool multi talented gal. And on her link list, I found me! Creepy....
It's like the Internet has reduced the separating degrees or what not.
Anyways, I am honored to be in this oblivious little web-ring. It feels great to be vicariously famous somehow.

Oh, and about the no shampoo thing, I've graduated to baking soda, like they tell HERE and let me say that even tough I don't have beautiful lustrous hair yet, I will persevere. My hair already seems stronger, tough a bit greasier, but not noticeably so. I still wash it every other day. I'll keep you posted.

Crap for crap

I had written a long and detailed entry about my day but I accidental erased it. GRAH!
So in retrospect, I am stating at home because of painful menses, I am taking the NO SHAMPOO CHALLENGE until I give up or I look horrible and I am a bit disgruntled at the return of the clown yesterday as the provincial prime minister.
Maudit Patapouf!
That is all.

LOLZ

I was looking at pictures my friend sent from the supper we had last month at 3 amigos (not to pricey faux-Mexican restaurant) and thought this one was pretty funny. Let's share the hotness!

I'm the brown hair girl. Didn't realize we had the same haircut until now.  You guys have to admit that I can make this butter knife look menacing enough. If not, then just look at my giant male-like knuckles!
I am not to be taken lightly, fools!

Fear me!!!!!

Everyone's doing the Myspace. I find it mildly amusing yet a bit wannabe trendy. But I don't judge, I just laugh.
:P
Maybe I'll get converted, who knows?
Anywho, I'm apparently not very evil. My friend's myspace page had the results of an online test for  "how evil are you" and despite the fact that I said I had killed a bug, Apparently that doesn't really make me a supervilan.

You Are 40% Evil

A bit of evil lurks in your heart, but you hide it well.

In some ways, you are the most dangerous kind of evil.

How Evil Are You?

Last week, I stayed at work until quite late. You know, deadlines and stuff, the sort of things that you know are coming but are never quite ready for.
Anyways, I had what I later found out was a sprained neck and wanted to go to bed asap. So when I got to my metro station, needless to say that I was fantasizing about my comfy bed.  However, as I got close to the door and started getting ready o face the mighty cold ( about -30 Celsius which is -22 Fahrenheit) I noticed a guy lying face down on the cold cement. I could have sword that a moment ago he had been standing on the curb, apparently waiting for his ride to show up.
The first thing that came to me was "OMG!! He got shot!!"
Then I thought that I'd better go and have a look to see if he's hurt. So telling myself  bravely that a gunshot in this area was unlikely, I stepped outside. I called out, went beside him and poked him while asking if he was OK, which he was obviously not if he was lying face down as he was.
"Mmggggmmmhmhmmmm!" was hi response. I saw that he had hit his head on the ground pretty badly when he fell down. The cut appeared to be deep, but since it was so cold, the blood seemed to have frozen in its path. I turned around determined to find help. A guy came up to me, asking me what the deal was. I told him I didn't know what had happened but that I had seen him fall flat on his face. He told me he was a security guard, tough not from the metro station. I went to call help, leaving the other man in charge. I figured he'd know more about such a situation than I would.
Inside, I found no one to help me. I saw that the McDonald was open so I figured if anyone knows how to contact security it'd be the mingling Mc Donald manager. But it was closing time and the people inside wouldn't even acknowledge that I was knocking on their stupid glass door.
So I returned outside where the hurt guy had gotten up and started walking off to the side of the building where benches were laid. The security guy told me he was just a little too drunk but that he had seemed coherent enough. I however was quite worried about his hurt head. I didn't remember much from the CPR I had learned in high school gym class, but I know that someone whose hit their head is not supposed to lie down. So when a few steps away I saw the drunk kid fall a second time, I was afraid that the situation could no longer be ignored. My fellow Samaritan helper went to get someone who actually worked in the metro station. There is always a least 1 person to keep order in that place; the thing is to find that person. And off he went, while I stayed outside, freezing my ass off for the sake of a drunk teenager on spring break. I tried talking to him, but he slurred to me that he'd be fine as long as he got a bit of rest. Considering his gashed head and the weather, I didn't think it was a good idea. I ran back inside to see if perhaps the guard was in my area. No one was there but a couple of people waiting for their buses. I went back outside only to find the poor kid face down again, only this time he appeared to be drowning in his own puke. So I pulled his backpack as hard as I could so at least his face would be higher and he could breath. Despite  his young age, he was a lot bigger than me. I couldn't lift him entirely by myself. Another man came to help. He asked me what was the matter. I roughly explained and he tried to reason with the kid to go inside. The young man was starting to get annoyed by all these strangers telling him what to do. Finally the security guard came back with the actual guard for the station. He looked a bit scared by the state of the teen. I told him the kid needed help. He didn't seem to realize that he had something to do. We could not lift the young man unless he heaved himself first. So I told him " Look, I know you just want us to leave you alone, but it's really dangerous for you to stay outside since you can't feel the cold because you are drunk. But if you go inside, at least you can lie on a bench instead of on the icy ground. and we'll leave you alone. All right?"
That  seemed to do the trick. Helped by the guard and the second stranger, the first having left the scene to catch his bus, the drunk teenager got to his feet and stumbled inside. I was quite relieved. I asked him for the phone number of someone who could pick him up before he fell asleep on the bench. Altough he was not speaking really loud, he was surprisingly clear considering the situation. I gave the number to the security guard and went home.
I have no idea who this kid was. He must have had the worst hangover EVER!!
Here's a doodle representing the scene.

Oh yeah!

I did another little illustration for the nice folks at Meez.com. They were nice enough to forgive my little computer troubles.  This one is my very own illustration. Woot!
Ok, I know, I'm a Little more curvy than this girl, but you get the main idea.
:P

Winter Spleen

{ 8:21 AM, 3/6/2007 } { 1 comments } { Link }
In French, spleen refers to a state of pensive sadness or melancholy.
I haven't updated in the longest time. Sorry whoever you are, be you friend or stranger from beyond the interweb. Maybe it's my job, or my crappy apartment that's too expensive or the fact that I'm a year older and looking it but I feel really down recently. I lack confidence and stamina.
I did this drawing. It's a bit different than my usual stuff. Not amazing, but I'm not unhappy with it.

THIS IMAGE WAS REMOVED DUE TO HORRIBLILITY   >:(
I have a bunch of other stuff but I fear it'd be illegal for me to show you work art. Non disclosure and what not.
I did an online practice driving test and got 95%. I thought you were allowed to refuse to take an alcohol test if there were no accident. You know, because I heard it often on the news that people have refused. So I tough it was OK if there were no other trouble. But I guess I should have thought about it more, because I know that they make you do it at roadblocks.  So I still could have my learner's permit like today. I'll take classes anyways. It makes the wait for the real license a lot shorter.

Behold my awesomeness~!!!
Imaginez moi sur la route. Bwahahahaha!!
Peace kids. Remember to flush.

Time off is good

Look at Meez!

I made a Meez with my new hair. This is fun. I made 1 background for them and I'm working on a new one too. It's a sweet project except I get carried away with detail. But that's my problem. I'm working on that. I'll post my face too so y'all can compare.

Oc sessions are for the cool kids.

Again, a few work buddies and myself have been spending most of our lunch hour drawing with the Open Canvas program which allows you to record your drawings and also draw on the same page as your friends. We don't draw on each other's space, but doing this as a group is lots of fun, especially when you watch the recap after. So I guess each drawing is took about 45-50 minutes.
The themes are "granny/horseman of the Apocalypse", "the Phoenix" and "Voodoo". Try to match the title with the drawing. It's pretty obvious.

I'm bored at work. I have stuff to do but it's so monotonous, I am almost hoping for a crisis to shake things up. Meh.

My Calender Girl -Featuring NIPPLES

{ 10:49 AM, 1/5/2007 } { 5 comments } { Link }
I participated in a calender project and my drawing is the smaller one in the januay page. It's still january, so you can still order it.
Some pretty artwork in there. All female artists and all female pinups.
GO BUY IT!!!!!!

And so it begins...

2007. Wow. Another year gone, another credit card loaded.
Boy! in retrospect, lots of big things happened tough at the moment they occurred, I hardly noticed anything.
I guess the 2 big things are the moving in part with my boyfriend and the purchase of the car with him.
I 'll be turning yet another year older in 2 months... Wow. I still have to make my web site.
Ok, so my resolutions are as fallows.
-Make a decent website
-learn to drive
-Make my comics
-Learn 3d more
-lose some extra weight
Guess that's fair, right? Not too demanding. I must not get sidetracked tough. Lots of shit happens in everyday life that will move me away from any of these goals. Like procrastinating. And worrying about global warming.
I made a Christmas card again this year, tough I ran out early. Some of my pals have not received it yet. I'll try to send them something anyways, even if the holidays are technically over now. I think it's fun to get mail.
Here it is, for your viewing pleasure. Peace out!

Oh yeah! I got a hair cut. I'll post my photo later so everyone can admire my coolness.

XMASSSSS!!!!

As you may know, I work in games and this year, there was a contest to have the employee compete to make a Holiday card. I didn't win, but I still kind of like mine, so here it is, in all it's GLORY!!

It sucks a little that I'm spending my vacation buying present for friends and family, but I'm generous like that.
Now i gotta get my own card prined. GAH!! Let's see some snow, already! C'est  supposé être le Québec icitte!!

Well well well!! Lookit that!

{ 2:39 PM, 12/1/2006 } { 1 comments } { Link }
The last game I worked on got a pretty good review. It's a liscence for something that doesn't really turn into a game to begin with, so I'm pretty happy.
And the lower aspects of the review were things we could not really change due to lack of time.
I drawed the characters and made thier pixel versions.
I deserve flowers.
The screenshots are a bit old tough... but you get the picture...

Sucks to be me

As I wallow in self pitty for stuff that is not even that trivial, I think I am way overdue for a drawing here. So here's a quiqky I made last month for the calender contest on the Concept Art "women only" thing. It's me btw. Bringing sexy back... again!

Grah!! I hate life today!
Oh, and Apparently Mr Stevens will make world peace if we pimp him a little. I own a lot of his shizzle so he better get my money.
Pixel comics = fun and robots
