4/19/2006 - In between projects

I should be concentrating on other projects, but I had promised to do a cover for a friend's amateur press comic mag. They mostly talk about super heroes book in there...which is not really the style that I read. So I went with a Teen Titans theme. Heh, Teen Titans was the first time I had anything to do with super heroes.

I learned that the game's release was being delayed again. Bizarre, as the work on our side is done. Some decision by the publisher then.

Different takes on video game characters over the years. Some excellent Zelda and Froggers, along with more recent games. First one that popped into my mind was...Bobble Bubble (or was it Bubble Bobble?)

I'm pretty sure it's bubble bobble, I know because I obsessed over that game when I was a kid, very cool pic, though I don't think it's quite "cute" enough.

sorry to hear about the teen titans game delay, game publishers can be such wankers sometimes.

heh he muted BB, thats class. I love the cover, its totally hilarious, espeically with Cy in a cowboy hat and Rae with a lovey dovey hippo! Amusing stuff... and I love the bubble bubble characters too! Great work!

hey! i lOvE the look in raven's face it's so funny an the look in robin's face in a lifeboat it's so hilarious they are my favorite cartoon characters. Hey and cy with a cowboy hat is so cool.

That Control Freak cover is great! The little details like what's happening on the screens are nice - nothing like five jokes in one pic.:)

Ah, Bubble Bobble. I remember that well. My mom and I used to play that all the time when I was a little kid. Was one of the few video games she did well on. Shame she wasn't still around, I'd print this off and show it to her. Oh, well. Thanks for giving me the warm & fuzzy feeling of happy childhood reminiscing.:)
