4/27/2006 - Thumbnails for an unused story

When it was time to give our outline for a next Flight story, I cooked up a simple 4 pages...too simple actually, (when you start doubting your idea, drop it!) and I ended up proposing another story instead.

This one will probably forever stay at the thumbnails level.

so when you do thumbnails, what size do you do them at? half the normal?

Thank you Ocarina. Yeah, Auron is also my fave character from FFX (which also happened to be the first video game I had ever bought).

lfw: the thumbnails are rather big for me: about 4"X6", or the whole page of a small sketchbook.

When I do thumbnails for my Horus project, they usually are barely half that size (2"X3,5"). I can put about 4 pages of thumbnails on one page of sketchbook.
I'm using different sketchbooks for different projects. One is almost purely Horus stuff.

Oops, sorry for not replying sooner (busy busy).

How much time to do these? Hard to say. I usually draw these while on the subway ride to and from work. There's quite a few minutes lost fighting the white page, then waiting for the train to not shake too much...I guess, if it was calm enough and my ideas are clear, about ten-fifteen minutes par page?
