This is full frenzy around my place: finishing some Potter stuff (y'know, that comic I was hinting about a few posts below?), got some Teen Titans stuff done (will show later, I promise), hurrying in doing illustrations for the Kim game, gotta do a mini comic of stick daemons for SDCC aaaaaand...done these two for a show at the Nucleus gallery. Ink, watercolours on Papyrus paper. Watercolour acts weird on it. The hieroglyphs simply say "cat" (miw) and "mouse" (penw). Thank you dictionary!
These are for the Flight exhibit, to celebrate the new book (volume 3) coming out next week June 27th. Rejoice! I've seen it and it looks great! I'm so pumped to start working on Flight 4. The next one is going to rock so hard...

lfw- papyrus is hardcore? Heehee! I don't know, but apart from inking, it's a bitch to try and color on. I may find the right medium to use one day (or a better way to do watercolours on it...) |
