That Depressing little life of mine

Character Design Carnival @ NLB : Comic JAm 24hrs

                                       

 

And so after a month of stress & hard work & STRESS  ( so many blunder made by me T^T .... Sorry Ricky! )…. Character Design Carnival @ National Library (http://www.comixjam24.com/index-c.htm ) was finally truly really over! For most people it ended on 11^th & some on last Friday when we took down the art works exhibited on e 6^th floor of e National Library but for me… it only truly ended on Monday when the scaffold were all dismantle & brought back to the factory. Whew!

 

Oh yeah, all of us really work our ass off. Some did not sleep for 48hrs straight, some even longer. I actually moved into my studio 2 weeks prior the event (yes… we do have a shower there…people kept asking me tat….), Shawn probably did more walking & running in a year, Junxian probably kills billions & trillions of brain cells. Daizhong, Ronnie, Kelvin, shaoyang, Osman, Sloth, our photographer & camera men which both I never really know their names, we all went through the 24hrs (some of us 48 hrs) together………. Thanks guys! You all are my bestest brothers! (hehee! Sorry Shawn, juz could not resist tat    )

 

Lets not forget Daimen, our guy from the National Library who was always helpful & supportive all the way….. Xuan Fei who helped driving our stuffs to & fo e library-studio, being e tour guide for our invited guest from China(Song Yang: http://blog.sina.com.cn/u/1409018205 ) & she was also our sometimes photographer for e event……… Gim, our intern, for sacrificing his rehearses time to help out & for letting me “bully”   …...  Adamas & Simon (e "Twin" sorry Adamas... but this is too funny  ) who also helped carried stuffs & cleaning up :>

Mental Block

OK, after struggling for a few months or so I have to face it. I'm having a major mental/artist block.

Ever since I finish my Zowie, I juz can't draw...can't draw AT ALL. At first its juz metal block(as if its not bad enough), my mind is always blank, no (creative)ideas, no nothing. Then after Zowie, BLAM! there goes the drawing. How does one break through an artist block?? If I dun solve this problem ASAP, I'll be out of job soon(yes, its tat bad...).

Sigh... wat a way to start a new blog... depressing.
